Senior Site Manager – Role Overview
You’ll lead the on-site delivery of major construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This is a key leadership position, managing day-to-day site operations and maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Senior Site Manager – Key Responsibilities

Oversee all on-site activities to deliver projects safely and efficiently.

Manage project programmes, resources, and subcontractor performance.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Maintain quality control and manage site inspections.

Collaborate with project management and commercial teams to achieve targets.

Senior Site Manager – Requirements

Proven track record managing large-scale construction projects for a main contractor.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

Strong understanding of construction methods, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Valid SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card), and First Aid at Work certifications.

Confident managing multiple stakeholders and subcontractor teams.

Flexibility to travel to regional project sites.
